Elgouna is a holiday town located about 22 km from Hurghada directly on the Red Sea.

The Egyptian entrepreneur Samih Sawiris had this holiday area built in 1989.

El Gouna was built in a mix of traditional Nubian style and modern architecture.

The city consists of over 19 different hotels with different categories.

El Gouna has a 10 km long beach.

El Gouna is always called the Venice of Egypt.

The population at the end of 2009 was around 15,000 people.

El Gouna is an absolute water sports paradise and of course there is snorkeling and diving here, but there are also a lot of wind and kite surfers here with strong winds.

For example, you can go snorkeling on Zaytouna Island. Mangroovy Beach is more suitable for kitesurfers and windsurfers.

Regarding Dine Around program ; Certainly one of the best things in El Gouna is the Dine Around. Here you can have dinner in one of the other hotels up to three times a week.
