We offer this excursion for all guests of the resorts in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna, Soma Bay, Safaga, Port Ghalib, El Quseir and Marsa Alam.
Course Requirements :
- Minimum age 10 years
- Adequate swimming skills
- Good physical condition
- A medical certificate proving your ability to dive if you have previously had an operation.
Tour Details
In this 4-day course you will learn new skills and acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge of recreational diving.
- Day 1: We pick you up from the hotel in the morning and we usually leave around 09:00. The first thing to do is to do some paperwork, such as filling out the medical questionnaire. Then you will receive the course manual in your language and have a look at the videos. Two dives take place on the first day, during which you will learn the most important diving skills.
- Day 2: Discussing the Knowledge Review questions from your handbook and completing the quizzes. Then two more dives follow, filled with important exercises and in the meantime you have time to watch the videos.
- Day 3: Continuation of the theory session, and two more dives
- Day 4: Completion of the theory sessions including the videos, final exam and two more dives
The course leads to certification as an open water diver, which means that you can dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
Notes
- From the age of 10 children can be certified as Junior open water Divers, but the maximum depth in this case should not exceed 12 meters and they are however referred to as Junior Open water Divers until they are 15 years old
