Departure Time:

At 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM (depending on your hotel location), your personal driver from Luxreisen will pick you up to begin your exclusive private tour.

Transportation:

This tour is entirely private, unlike traditional group tours. Your driver will not make any stops to pick up other passengers, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy throughout the journey.

Departure from Hurghada to Cairo:

Our journey begins with a drive from Hurghada to Cairo, covering approximately 450 km. Since this is a private tour, we enjoy a peaceful drive without stops for other guests. Along the way, we can admire the vast Egyptian desert and its majestic mountains.

Arrival in Giza:

Around 7:00 AM, we arrive in the Giza area, where our historic adventure begins. Here, you will meet your Engkish-speaking guide from Luxreisen, who will introduce you to the fascinating history of ancient Egypt and take you to the most significant historical sites.

Visit to Saqqara:

The first stop is Saqqara, an archaeological site with numerous tombs from the Pharaonic, Roman, and Greek periods. We will visit some of the open tombs approved by the Egyptian Tourism Authority.

Visit to the Unas Pyramid:

Next, we will visit the Unas Pyramid, famous for its unique pyramid texts, considered the first religious inscriptions in Egypt. These texts, known as the "Pyramid Texts," provide insights into the Pharaoh's mystical journey to the afterlife.

Visit to Djoser's Step Pyramid:

Right next to the Unas Pyramid is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's first pyramid. Despite the millennia that have passed, the pyramid still stands proudly and impressively, surrounded by a massive stone enclosure and an ancient burial ground.

Drive to Memphis:

From Saqqara, we continue our journey to Memphis, the first capital of unified ancient Egypt, founded by King Narmer. Here, we will visit the impressive Ramses II Statue, made of limestone, standing over 10 meters tall and weighing approximately 83 tons. We will also see the alabaster White Marble Sphinx, as well as the ruins of ancient temples dedicated to Ptah, the Egyptian creator god.

Visit to Dahshur:

Our final stop is Dahshur, located just about 30 minutes from Memphis. Here, we will visit the Red Pyramid, considered the first pyramid with a perfect geometric shape. We will also explore the Bent Pyramid of Sneferu, renowned for its unique shape. The Red Pyramid is covered in a rich red hue, linked to the star Aldebaran—an intriguing astronomical detail.

Return to Hurghada:

After visiting these historical treasures, we return to Hurghada, filled with memories and photos that will forever remind us of this unforgettable journey through the history of ancient Egypt.
